Chromatic is a color toolkit browser extension created by Sophia N. Your privacy matters, and Chromatic is designed to respect it completely.
Chromatic does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.
Chromatic saves your preferences (saved colors, palettes, theme choice) locally in your browser using the Web Storage API. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone else — including us.
When you use the Image Extract feature, all processing happens entirely within your browser using the HTML Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere. They stay on your device.
The color picker uses Chrome's EyeDropper API to sample colors from your screen. No screenshot is taken or stored — only the single color value you pick is captured.
Chromatic does not use any analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or third-party services. There are no ads.
Chromatic does not share any data with third parties because there is no data to share.
Chromatic requests no special permissions. All color collections, palettes, theme preferences, and image processing happen entirely on your device.
